How much does the REAP grant pay for?
The REAP grant will cover 25% of your total project costs for a renewable energy system, before taxes, in cash. This means you get 25% of the project costs upon completion of the system, and then get to claim all the tax incentives as well. Systems that are able to secure the REAP grant typically have a very strong return-on-investment.

The REAP grant will cover 25% of all project costs, including site work, pre-planning, installation & commissioning. The minimum award size is $2,500, and the maximum is $500,000.
