Richard is the boss, the cheerleader, and the ultimate solar enthusiast at SunDay Solar. With 15 years in the industry, he’s finally installing systems he used to only dream about owning. He’s always dreamed of working for polar bears and penguins (seriously, who wouldn’t?), and Jacques Cousteau is his hero. When he’s not leading the team, Richard’s hobby is fixing things—because “buying new” is for amateurs. Fun fact: He lives in bliss and is all about making our clients feel like rock stars!

Michael is the new COO at SunDay Solar, helping customers achieve their energy dreams with a side of curiosity and a whole lot of nerdiness. When he’s not diving into math, physics, or AI, you’ll find him cooking, playing piano, sinking basketball shots, or hiking and sledding. Fun fact: Michael’s working on finishing his private pilot’s license—soon he’ll be flying both in the air and in the solar world!

Laura’s loving the vibes at SunDay Solar after 5 years in the industry. When she’s not working, you’ll find her in her garden creating a paradise for native pollinators. Before solar, she ran a craft brew-focused restaurant for 10 years—talk about a brew-tiful past! A proud dog mom to Kili, her trusty sidekick, Laura is always looking for ways to grow, protect, and create—whether in her garden or on an adventure with her pup.

Sam, with his four years of experience, loves the thrill of energizing a challenging install and seeing impressive production numbers after the first day of operation. Sam likes intertwining his creative past as an art director for a European marketing firm with his work at SunDay Solar. As a backyard mechanic and fluent Dutch speaker Sam has some serious hidden talents!

Emma’s favorite part of the job? Laughing with coworkers and the sweet victory of turning in a grant. When she’s not making magic happen at work, you’ll find her baking cakes that are almost too pretty to eat or crafting cute clay earrings. Emma is the proud cat mom of Freya and Malfuf – though Malfuf is a bit of a pirate with just one eye. Fun fact: She once lived in Albuquerque, where her love for the sun thrived! Now you can find her at SunDay Solar bringing that sunny energy to everything she does.

Justiniano has been in solar for 5 years and at SunDay Solar for 1.5, loving the team’s focus on putting customers first—no pressure, just trust. When he’s not working, he’s fly fishing or dreaming about Chile and Argentina, where solar energy and stunning landscapes abound!

Alicia has spent 4.5 years at SunDay Solar, where the team feels more like family. She thrives in the close-knit, collaborative atmosphere and loves being outdoors—whether it’s getting her hands dirty or hiking through the woods. Fun fact: she grew up in California as a triple threat—singing, dancing, and acting her way through childhood!

Phillip’s first career was in engineering in the US Navy, and he is an honorably discharged veteran. His first solar job was in 2010 on a 3.2 megawatt school district installation. Phillip loves working with people and love saving people money!

Gabe’s all about battery storage, but when he’s not charging up innovation, you’ll find him on a nature walk or eating something weird—he once tried a mono-crystalline wafer (don’t ask). A self-proclaimed dog fanatic, Gabe’s always ready to bond with a pup or dive into a new, unconventional food adventure.

Dan loves spending time with great people and soaking up the sun during the workday. When he’s not too busy being a great dad, he enjoys playing hockey and hunting. If you need service on your solar panels, Dan is your man!

For the last three years at SunDay Solar, Miles has loved being part of a team that balances fun with safety while delivering clean energy to the community. Outside the office, you’ll find him hiking, hanging out with friends in nature, and hunting for wild mushrooms. Oh, and he’s a big fan of rocks—seriously, he loves them!

Simon has been working his magic for 5 years. He loves “manipulating the laws of nature” to create positive outcomes—basically, he’s a nature wizard. What was meant to be a temporary gig turned into a long-term passion, thanks to the amazing team and mission. When he’s not electrifying the world, Simon’s all about scale modeling, creating tiny masterpieces. And above all, he wants you to know—he cares!

Tyler loves the hands-on construction work and the team camaraderie at SunDay Solar, but his favorite part is getting to make the world a better place, one panel at a time. Outside of work, you can find Tyler farmsteading, making art, or playing the banjo. Now that’s multi-talent!

Dehn has been with SunDay Solar for 5 years, living life on the edge – literally and figuratively. When he’s not busy installing your solar, you’ll find him watching the films of his one true love, Nicolas Cage. Wild Style? Check. Love for birds? Double check. SunDay Solar? More entertaining because of him.

Mason is all about enjoying the great outdoors while getting the job done. When the workday’s over, you’ll find him rocking out at live music shows. Mason’s stoked to be part of SunDay Solar and brings a positive, grateful vibe to the team.

Nate, our go-to wire wizard for the last 3 years, problems solves one tangle at a time. When he’s not making connections (literally), you’ll find him traveling the world, cooking up a storm, or riding his motorcycle. A musician and joke enthusiast at heart, Nate’s all about having fun and getting the job done.
